The second side of this vacation getaway is home to the remaining three bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, cozy dining area, and comfortable living room. Here you can relax on the large sofa, tune in to the cable-ready flat-screen TV, or simply finish that book you started reading on the plane.
The kitchen is ideal for preparing your own meals - the island has no shortage of fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood—and appliances of every size have been provided for your convenience. There’s also a breakfast bar when you want a less formal option that the dining room table, which seats six.
One of your sleeping options includes a pretty bedroom with two twin beds, while the remaining bedrooms have full-sized beds. There’s also a marvelous soaking tub in one of the three bathrooms, which you will undoubtedly enjoy after a long day of all those great “S” words: sightseeing, snorkeling, swimming, shopping or SCUBA diving.
Island House has a distinct advantage over most private homes - and even some hotels - on the island: namely, the freshwater pool. The entire backyard is gorgeous, in fact. The garden is colorful and well-maintained, benches are plentiful, and the mosaic tiles are simply stunning. There’s even a delightful walking path, lined with tall palm trees.
