A new restaurant and bar opened on the seafront downtown last night - Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.
The venue, which is set to be busy with tourists day and night, is part of a chain owned by famous US singer-songwriter, Jimmy Buffett. The air-conditioned bar and restaurant includes a decked terrace area outside, overlooking the port. |

More than 10,000 visitors and 200 companies are expected to attend Expo Construcción Yucatán 2007, the State Government announced this week.
The Mexican State of Yucatan's 10th annual construction expo will be held in the 21st Century Convention Center in Merida, from May 31 to June 3. |
