  Félix González Canto, the Governor of the State of Quintana Roo, swore in the new Cozumel Rotary Club committee at a special meeting on the island last week.

Rotary International is a worldwide organization that provides humanitarian service and aims to help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Called Punto de Partida - or 'Starting Point' - it shows a series of new works by up-and-coming young Mexican artist Adriana Delfin.

93% Of Tourists Plan To Return

Popular beaches.
  According to a recent survey, 93% of tourists to the island said they planned to return and 100% said they thought Cozumel was a safe place to visit.

The survey results showed a high satisfaction rate among the visitors questioned. The island's beautiful beaches were cited as one of the most popular attractions.
