This is the most economical way to get to Passion Island with all transport included from downtown. The meeting point is at the Punta Langosta cruise terminal mall and Passion Island staff will arrange licensed taxis to drive you to the small ferry pier at the north of Cozumel, at Bahia Ciega bay. The drive takes about 30 minutes and part of the road can be quite bumpy as it takes you through a protected part of the island.
At the bay you'll board a small ferry at the fishermans' wharf for the 5-10 minute crossing to Passion Island. The ferry goes across a lagoon, not open sea, so the water is usually calm. After your time on Passion Island the ferry will take you back again and staff will have a taxi waiting for your return trip back downtown.
Enjoy a scenic boat ride with this tour version. The meeting point is at the Punta Langosta cruise terminal mall and Passion Island staff will walk you to the pier across the street where you'll board your boat. The ride takes about 45 minutes and is in a jet boat, but with this tour version it is a calm ride with no high speed or stunts (see the Jet Boat option below if you're looking for that!).
When your time at Passion Island is up you'll board the boat for the return trip back downtown again. The boat rides are usually smooth but on choppier days it can be bumpier so it is not recommended for people with neck or back problems.
An exciting off-road adventure by Jeep to get to your all-inclusive white sand island. The meeting point is at the Punta Langosta cruise terminal mall and Passion Island staff will walk you to the Jeeps, parked close by. You'll drive your stick-shift Jeep yourself to Bahia Ciega bay in the north of Cozumel, traveling in a caravan and following a guide in the lead Jeep. It takes about 30-45 minutes in each direction and includes some exciting off-roading, hold on tight and enjoy the ride!

If you have a rental car then you can drive yourself directly to the ferry in the north of Cozumel, at Bahia Ciega bay. The drive takes about 30 minutes from downtown and part of the road can be quite bumpy as it takes you through a protected part of the island. It is your responsibility to check that you are insured and permitted to drive it on this road.
At the bay you'll find free parking and then can board the small ferry at the fishermans' wharf for the 5-10 minute crossing to Passion Island. The ferry goes across a lagoon, not open sea, so the water is usually calm. After your time on Passion Island the ferry will take you back again and you can pick up your car from the parking area and drive back directly.
